Pastor Bryan felt called into the ministry at the age of 15 and was serving as a youth pastor by the age of 19. Three years later, he joined the pastoral staff at Horizon Christian Fellowship. Pastor Bryan started Calvary Chapel San Diego in the South Bay area in September of 1985, at age 24. He has since been pastoring there with his wife Cheryl and their four children Renee, Nathan, Charles, and Tracy.

Calvary Chapel San Diego is a loving community that is thriving on worshiping (in contemporary style music), verse-by-verse teaching of God’s Word and a passionate heart for prayer. Pastor Bryan currently teaches verse-by-verse through the New Testament during  two Sunday morning services. He then teaches through the Old Testament Sunday night with a different verse-by-verse message. Pastor Bryan also teaches in-depth studies on Wednesday nights.
